With an already successful line of fair-traded chocolates, this Canadian-based chocolatier needed to broaden its supply of fair-traded chocolates.

The opportunity was to create a new line of chocolates to broaden awareness of the fair trade concept, both to consumers and to growers outside of their present supplier in the Dominican Republic. The challenge was to expand production without damaging the Dominican collective.

This unconventional shape and style conveys the warmth of hand-made quality. This also supports the slightly elevated price point, required to sustain this environmentally, and socially-aware approach.
